Khamira Gaozaban Sada is a Unani Medicine used for strengthening nerves, brain, heart and mind. It improves eyesight and acuity. It reduces stress and improves the quality of sleep. It is used for the treatment of nervine weakness, mental fatigue, stress, insomnia, heart palpitation, restlessness, vertigo and several other mental disorders characterized by hyper-excitement and altered mood. It is also beneficial in cases of common cold, flu, and sore throat.

Berg Gaozaban (Borage or Starflower) – Borago Officinalis (Leaf) 30 grams
Gule Gaozaban – Borago Officinalis (Flowers) 10 grams
Kashneez (Coriander) – Coriandrum Sativum (Seeds) 10 grams
Abresham – Bombyx Mori Cocoon 10 grams
Behman Surkh (Lal Bahaman) – Salvia Haematodes (Root) 10 grams
Behman Safed – Centaurea Behen (Root) 10 grams
Chandan Safed (White Sandalwood) – Santalum Album (Wood) 10 grams
Tukhme Balanga – Lallemantia Royleana (Seed) 10 grams
Tukhme Franjmishk – Ocimum Gratissimum (Seed) 10 grams
Badranj Boya (Catnip) – Melissa Parviflora 10 grams
Purified Water 2 Litres
Sugar (Qand Safed) 1 Kg
Honey (Mel) 250 grams
Preparation Method
For making Khamira Gaozaban Sada, take water and soak all ingredients (except sugar and honey) in it for a night (12 hours).
In the morning, boil the water with herbs till it remains half. Leave it to cool naturally for several minutes or an hour, then rub the herbs in water and filter the filtrate and discard residues.
Now, take filtrate and add sugar and honey in it. Boil it and make Qiwam (basic solution of particular consistency). Now, triturate it until it becomes white.

Khamira Gaozaban is beneficial for brain and heart. It treats the diseases occurring due to excess heat in the body or aggravated Pitta Dosha. According to Unani Medicine, it is the best medicine when the aggravation of Dam (Blood) or Safra (Yellow Bile) is the main cause of the diseases.
Khamira Gaozaban reduces Mental Fatigue
In some people, excessive mental tiredness affects the ability of the person to work efficiently and reduces job performance. It also leads to impaired physical functioning. It is generally associated with anxiety, irritability, and frustration. Khamira Gaozaban is the best medicine to strengthen the brain and improving its capabilities to fight with the stress. It also calms the mind, reduces anxiety and increases alertness and passion for the work.
Some people experience a headache and mental tiredness with a little mental work. In such cases, Khamira Gaozaban gives awesome results. In these cases, it should be consumed for at least 3 months.

Dosage & Adjuvant
The general dosage of Khamira Gaozaban Sada is as follows.
Children 1 to 3 grams
Adults 3 to 10 grams (Optimum Dosage is 10 grams)
Doses: 1 or 2 Doses per day
Best Time to Take: On an empty stomach in the morning; at night just before sleep; or 2 hours after a meal.
Adjuvant: Arq Gaozaban (125 ml) is the best adjuvant in all cases; Warm milk (250 ml) for strengthening heart and brain and heart diseases and mental disorders; Warm water for cold, flu and sore throat.
Side Effects of Khamira Gaozaban Sada
Khamira Gaozaban Sada does not cause any side effects.
Contraindications
There are no absolute contraindications for Khamira Gaozaban Sada.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Khamira Gaozaban Sada contains Borago Officinalis, which is studied for teratogenic effects. The study was on its oil that exerts prostaglandin E agonist action. Due to this action, it may cause premature labor. Therefore, pregnant women should not use Khamira Gaozaban Sada.
However, Borago Officinalis is used to increase breast milk flow, but this herb is also known for some compounds in it that are not suitable for infant’s liver and cause some harmful effects on the liver. Therefore, lactating mothers should also avoid Khamira Gaozaban Sada.
